Graphics / Images are a great way to draw attention to your site. They set the look and feel of the whole web sites. Poor graphics can deter people from visiting a site.

Common problems with graphics

Too slow to upload - image too large and takes too long to load, people get board and move on to other sites.
Fuzzy Images - small image stretched out to fill a certain space.
Too many images - size of page to large, images may fail to load. Page too busy, user can't focus on content.

Having a balance and well Optimized graphics can be important to making a web site successful.This is one area in web design that can be quite time consuming.
